Yesterday my group finished our 3D model. All we had to do before we finshed we had to tie up our clouds and I had to paint the hill. When I finished my panting job we waited for it to dry off. Nan said get the hairdryer in the class. Iri and I went in class it was not in there so we looked up home we couldn't find it. We wentto the classand nan was standing at the door she said did you find it we said no. Nan went up home and she found it we dried our painting put it in and thn the bell rang. So we went home.19-8-09Last night I was finishing off my ghost of Ruddock mansion.Before I started I had to find ten spelling words.My words were mural, illurstration, haunted, lightening, camouflage, instalment, authorise,proceed, proposterous and anguish.I had to write a story about The ghost of ruddock mansion with all those words in it.The story was about my friends and I went fundraising and we went in a haunted mansion and there is a ghost that haunts the mansion.Last night I finshed it off when I read it uncle thought it was real beacause he remebers me going fundraising.I was so proud of that story.This morning I learnt my spelling words.Nan pretested me and turns out I can spell all of them.18-8-09Yesterday we did a water cycle sheet. I found out lots of things like another word for steam is vapor. On the sheet we had to pick a wordto see if it would fit in. If we didn't know what the word meant we had to look in the dictionary. I also found out that ice crystals precipitate as snow. Also waterdroplets precipitate as rain. After we finished the sheet we had to write it in our readin book. I didn't finish so I did some after school.14-8-09Yesterday after lunch we had to carry on with our 3d model.After my group finished we went out to look for what we needed.First we got a box out of koka Te Rius class for our materials.Iri found some dead grass and I found some cotton for the cloudsWe all found sea shells.We put our items in the box and went into class.Before we went home we sang listen. Then the bell rang to go home.13-8-09Yesterday after lunch my mum and my aunty Kylee were teaching our class.We had to get in our environment groups.We played Cranium.Our group was getting the most points but in the end we came a tie with Nehas team.When school was almost over mum took us out to play Capture the Flag.We played for about twenty-five minute.Then the bell rang to go home.12-8-09Yesterday after lunch Kathryn,Hayden and I read a book about coral reefs I found out that scuba divers harm the coral reefs by pressing all there weight on the reef.Also I found out that thorn starfish eat polyps.11-8-09Yesterday at school nan took cKodez, Rakaia, Neha, Hayden and I for math.We were doing maps.We had to find one different way for Mary to get to the bank.Then we had to write the directions in our math book.When the bell rang for morning tea I knew how to read the map.10-8-09Last night I was in bed reading a book. Rakaia, Mum and my aunty Kylee came home but I didn't know. I read my book for one hour. Then I went in the lounge and I saw them. I gave them a hug and went back to bed.7- 8-09Yesterday at morningtea I played tennis.I played with Jayda it was fun.Then Logan played.We played for 20 minsthen the bell rang and we all rushed to class.6 August 2009Yesterday afternoon we carried on with our environment activites. Our group was on the computer. I helped sinead to do her wikispace we had to go onto our page then you push edit,go down to the bottom of the page and write three letters of your name and environment. Make it a link press save. Jelly Muffin is a website where you can make a title and make look glittery.14-05-09This story is about a Tohunga, an old priest. His house was in the bush, high in the hills. Below his house was a small village.6-4-09On Saturday Briar and Brodie stayed at my house. We played Blindman's Bluff in my room. We had so much fun. Then we went outside with the torch and played Spotlight. Brodie and I hid in the caravan Briar could not find us until ages. After we finished playing the game we went inside to set the table for dinner Mum cooked chicken tenders,with mashed potatos and salad. It was delicious and I cleaned up my plate. We all cleared the table then did the dishes.25-3-09On Monday Briar was over at my house and Briar asked me if we could make a cake. So I asked my Mum and she said "yes". The ingredints were butter, cocoa, eggs, flour, baking powder and sugar.18-3-09When the bell rang I walked to the Four Square with the class. We were collecting data to see who was wearing seatbelts and who wasn't wearing seatbelts.
